  1. Right of withdrawal for consumers

Subject to the following instructions on withdrawal rights under clauses 3 and 4 of this document, you have a withdrawal right if you have concluded the contract with us in your capacity as a consumer, i.e. for purposes which predominantly cannot be attributed to your trade or self-employed professional activities.

  2. When do which instructions on withdrawal rights apply?

If your order relates to the purchase of digital content which is not supplied on a physical data carrier (e.g. ePapers), the following instructions will apply to you: "Instructions on withdrawal rights for the purchase of digital content not supplied on physical data carriers".

If your order relates to a service within the meaning or the laws governing remote sales (e.g. access to online offers), the following instructions will apply to you: "Instructions on withdrawal rights for services".

If you order a combination (bundle) of digital content and services, where the performances are linked economically in a manner which does not allow one component to be ordered without, or at different terms than, the other part (e.g. access to online offers combined with the transmission/download of a paper), the withdrawal from one part of the bundle always covers the entire contract. This means that if you have withdrawal rights with regard to the contract associated with the digital content, this withdrawal right also covers the contract relating to the services.

    Right of Withdrawal

You may withdraw from the contract within fourteen days, without having to state reasons for this decision.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the contract is concluded.

In order to exercise your withdrawal rights, you will have to inform us (Schweitzer Fachinformationen oHG, iKiosk, Alt-Moabit 91c, 10559 Berlin, [email protected]) by means of an unambiguous declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, telefax or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the enclosed template form, but this is not mandatory.

In order to meet the deadline, it will be sufficient for you to dispatch the notification informing us that you are exercising your right of withdrawal prior to expiry of the deadline.

    Consequences of the withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we have to reimburse you for all payments which we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs incurred because you chose a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by us), without undue delay and no later than within fourteen days from the day on which we receive your notification informing us of your withdrawal from the contract. For this reimbursement, we shall use the payment method which you used in the original transaction, except if expressly agreed otherwise; we shall never charge fees for such reimbursement.

    Special information

Your withdrawal rights regarding the contractual digital content shall end prematurely when we have started to perform the contract, provided that you have given your expressed consent for us to start performance of the contract prior to the end of the withdrawal period, and that you have confirmed knowledge of the fact that you will lose your withdrawal rights upon commencement of performance.
